Our impact
The NNSS plans efforts to benefit the communities in which we live and work, both as a positive economic impact as well as being recognized as a preferred employer in Southern Nevada. To address the greatest challenges faced in our communities, we leverage resources in three critical focus areas. Current and previous organizations we’ve partnered with include:
Advocacy: Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA), National Security Forum (NSF), Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation, Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce, Vegas Chamber
Community involvement: American Red Cross, Clean the World, Opportunity Village Magical Forest, Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada, Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, Three Square Food Bank, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots
Education/STEM: Atomic Museum, Brigham Young University, Clark County School District, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, FIRST Nevada, Future City, Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival, Nevada Public Education Foundation, Nevada Science Bowl, Nye County School District, Operation Clean Desert, STEM Saturdays, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, University of Nevada, Reno
