Erik J. Anderson (Clark County, Nevada) – A resident of Henderson, Nevada, Mr. Anderson is currently employed as a compliance and regulatory affairs analyst for the Clark County Water Reclamation District. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Eastern Washington University, along with certifications as a registered environmental health specialist from the State of Nevada Board of Registered Environmental Health Specialists, hazardous materials manager from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, and environmental manager from the State of Nevada Division of Environmental Protection. His interests include local government, environmental, public health, and education issues. Mr. Anderson was appointed to the board in October 2022.

Joycelyn N. Austin-Mabe (Clark County, Nevada) – A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ms. Austin-Mabe is currently self-employed as a bookkeeper. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Lane College and a Master of Business Administration from Jackson State University. Ms. Austin-Mabe is comptroller for the Church of God in Christ National Adjutancy and finance administrator for Bethesda Church. Her interests include minority and civic issues. She was appointed to the board in October 2022.

Robert D. Blackstock (Nye County, Nevada) A resident of Pahrump, Nevada, Mr. Blackstock retired as a maintenance superintendent for the City of Del Mar, California in 2014. He attended high school in Escondido, California. Mr. Blackstock is a member of the Pahrump Regional Planning Commission. He is interested in local government, environmental, and civic issues. Mr. Blackstock was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Lisa M. Blandi (Nye County, Nevada) – A resident of Pahrump, Nevada, Ms. Blandi retired as an accounting manager for Expeditors International, an American logistics and freight company, in 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the California State University, Long Beach. Her interests include education, environmental, and public health issues. Ms. Blandi was appointed to the board in October 2022.

John D. Cole (Clark County, Nevada) – A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. Cole is a project manager for Parsons Corporation providing design, procurement, and construction management for the Southern Nevada Water Authority. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, completed a graduate course in Fundamentals of Nuclear Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is registered as a professional engineer in multiple states. Mr. Cole is the southwest district counselor for Alpha Chi Sigma, a professional chemistry fraternity. His interests include civic, environmental, workforce, and economic development issues. He was appointed to the board in October 2022.

Juan Diaz III (Clark County, Nevada) – A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. Diaz is currently employed as the diesel shop general manager for Speedco/Love’s Travel Stops. He holds a Diesel Tech Course degree from San Diego City College. Mr. Diaz is interested in education, workforce, local business, and civic issues. He was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Gary E. Elgort (Clark County, Nevada) A resident of Mesquite, Nevada, Mr. Elgort retired as senior engineer from Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. in 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami, graduate studies in Material Science and Engineering from Stony Brook University, and a former licensed professional engineer in the state of New York and steam and gas distribution specialist. Mr. Elgort is a member of the Desert Fossils Hiking Club, and an elected board member of the Virgin Valley Water District. His interests include civic, local government, environmental, and public health issues. He was appointed to the board in October 2020.

Thomas W. Fisher (Clark County, Nevada) A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Fisher retired as an adjunct professor of English/College Success at the College of Southern Nevada in 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colgate University, a Master of Science in Kinesiology from George Williams College, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.  Dr. Fisher is an instructor for the driver safety and smart driverTEK programs for AARP. He is interested in education, environmental, and civic issues. Dr. Fisher previously served on the Environmental Management Site-Specific Advisory Board in Nevada from October 2011 to September 2014. He was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Pamela M. Handor (Clark County, Nevada) – A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ms. Handor retired as a senior administrative specialist for Mission Support and Test Services, LLC, the prime contractor for the National Nuclear Security Administration at the Nevada National Security Sites in 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Arts from the University of Cambridge in Thika, Kenya; graduate studies and certification in Human Resources Management from San Francisco State University; and Six Sigma certifications as a trainer in human resources management systems. Ms. Handor is a volunteer career advisor for LinkedIn, volunteer for the Red Cross, and member and advisor for multiple employee affinity groups. Her interests include civic, workforce, education, environmental, and public health issues. Ms. Handor was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Charles D. Hare (Nye County, Nevada) A resident of Amargosa Valley, Nevada, Mr. Hare is currently self-employed as a security architect. He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering from Riverview Community College, Virginia, along with various certifications including Certified Information Security Manager and Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Mr. Hare is interested in economic development and civic issues. He was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Mark H. Hilton (Clark County, Nevada) A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. Hilton retired as the deputy director of the National Protection and Programs Directorate for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2011 and is a retired Army Vietnam veteran. He had also been an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College for about 29 years at the time of his retirement. Mr. Hilton holds a Bachelor of Science of Foreign Service in International Affairs from Georgetown University, a Master of Public Administration from The American University, and a Doctor of Arts in International Education from George Mason University. He is a chaplain and a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, American Legion, First Calvary Division Association, Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association, and a board of director on the Military Officers of America Association. His interests include civic, education, environmental, and economic development issues. Mr. Hilton was appointed to the board in October 2020 and currently serves as its chair.

Tammi A. Odegard (Nye County, Nevada) – A resident of Pahrump, Nevada, Ms. Odegard is currently employed as chief operating officer for the Nye County Coalition, a non-profit agency that provides many public health programs throughout Nye, Lincoln, and Esmeralda Counties. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from City University and is a certified nonprofit accounting professional and workplace excellence facilitator. Ms. Odegard is a member of the Rural Desert Southwest Brownfields Coalition and a board member for the Southwest Central Regional Economic Development Authority. She is interested in educational, economic development, and environmental issues. Ms. Odegard was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Lori E. Olson-Arzaga (Clark County, Nevada) – A resident of Henderson, Nevada, Ms. Olson-Arzaga is currently employed as director of environmental services for the Clark County School District. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from California State University, Fullerton, certifications in hazardous materials management and site assessment and remediation, various Occupational Safety and Health Administration trainings, and is a certified environmental manager in Nevada. Ms. Olson-Arzaga is interested in educational and environmental issues. She was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Anntoinette V. Rivera (Clark County, Nevada) A resident of Henderson, Nevada, Ms. Rivera is currently employed as manager of Tortillas Incorporated. She attended high school at Foothill High School in Henderson, Nevada, and will obtain a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Resource Sciences with a Minor in Psychology from Nevada State University in May 2024. Ms. Rivera is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Sustainability Council at Nevada State University, and a board member of Women in STEM at Nevada State University. She is interested in education, workforce, environmental, public health, local business, and civic issues. She was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Brandon D. Schmidt (Nye County, Nevada) A resident of Amargosa Valley, Nevada, Mr. Schmidt is the small business owner of Tarantula Ranch LLC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Oregon, Eugene. Mr. Schmidt is interested in local government, local business, and environmental issues. He was appointed to the board in October 2024.

Kevin T. Trainor (Nye County, Nevada) – A resident of Tonopah, Nevada, Mr. Trainor is currently employed as a tax accountant for H&R Block. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Metropolitan State University and is a graduate of the Russian Basic Course at the Defense Language Institute. Mr. Trainor is the treasurer and director of the National Fantasy Fan Federation, the nation’s oldest science fiction fan club, and sole director of Fission-chan, a Nevada non-profit that aims to promote awareness and support for nuclear power. His interests include civic, economic development, and environmental issues. He was appointed to the board in October 2022 and currently serves as its vice-chair.

Eddie J. Williams (Nye County, Nevada) – A resident of Pahrump, Nevada, Mr. Williams is an administrator for the Northwest Arctic School District. He holds a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from Wayland Baptist University, Master of Secondary Education from Texas State University, including certification as a surgical technologist for 25 years. Mr. Williams is member and past president of the Pahrump Valley Rotary Club, vice chair of the Pahrump Community Holiday Taskforce, and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Pahrump Rapid Response Team. His interests include civic and education issues. He was appointed to the board in October 2022.
