The Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS) secured a third-place overall finish in this year’s Las Vegas Corporate Challenge, concluding a competitive 12-week-multi-sport tournament.
Competing against 16 other teams in the A Division, Team NNSS earned a total of 153 points, trailing only first-place finisher Aristocrat (200.5 points) and second-place City of Las Vegas (175.33 points).

Team NNSS excelled in a wide range of sports, earning gold medals in horseshoes and the executive relay. The team also earned silver medals in six events—axe throwing, curling, dodgeball, golf, range shooting, and track and field—along with bronze medals in basketball, bowling and table tennis. NNSS finished in the top five in 10 additional events.
“Our team’s ranking at this year’s Corporate Challenge reflects the same dedication, collaboration and excellence that our workforce brings to our mission every day,” said NNSS coordinator McKenzie K. “Securing a podium finish is a fantastic achievement, but we are even more proud of the sportsmanship and positive spirit our employees displayed throughout the entire 12-week competition.”
Beyond the scoreboard, NNSS earned recognition for its team spirit, taking third place for the Director Sportsmanship Award. This honor recognizes the organization that best demonstrates sportsmanship, cooperation and positive teamwork throughout the games.
Additionally, McKenzie K. received the individual Person of the Year Award. The honor is presented to a single participant, volunteer or coordinator who goes above and beyond to support the success of the Corporate Challenge.
Way to go, Team NNSS!
